Summary

Water leaks under a house can go unnoticed until major problems appear. We were called in after the water supply had been shut off, and signs pointed to a hidden leak somewhere in the boiler system.

The Work

Restored city water supply to begin inspection
Removed the metal panel in the basement for full access
Traced the leak to the hot water supply line feeding the upstairs heater
Found severe pipe corrosion and rotting, requiring full line replacement

The Outcome

Pinpointing the cause of the leak allowed us to recommend a clear fix. The homeowner now has a path forward to stop corrosion from causing further water damage or heating issues.
